Friedhelm’s horse on wheels is a tribute to Margarete’s great-nephew and former managing director Friedhelm Steiff, who was given a 60cm horse on wheels for Christmas 1939. It became his favourite childhood toy. This Steiff Friedhelms Horse on Wheels 006838 is an exact copy of the original, although smaller at 32cm.
